During my time as station manager
at RTL 102.5 in Arcene (Bergamo),
back in 1993,
I was allowed to install
a Ham Radio antenna system
on the National station’s main tower
at a height of more than 67 metres.
In the photo on the right below,
at the top of the tower,
a HY-GAIN TH7-DX antenna can be seen
(for the 20, 15 and 10 metre bands).
Also installed were full-size
Inverted V antennas
for the 160, 80 and 40 metre bands.
